Categories | Dues | Application | Roster MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES: For Managers, Students, and Others Full Member: Any Full Member of ICMA; any person occupying a position as administrative head of a local government recognized by ICMA as a "Council Manager Position" or "General Management Position;" any person occupying a position as administrative head of a local government that is eligible for recognition by ICMA as a "Council Manager Position" or "General Management Position," and any person who is a principal assistant to the administrative head of a local government that is eligible for recognition by ICMA as a "Council Manager Position" or "General Management Position." Affiliate Member: Any person employed in an administrative position by a local government or an association of local governments, persons retired from local government service, persons employed by the State of Georgia, the United States Government or any agency thereof; any person whose principal occupation is the teaching of public administration or closely allied subjects. Student Member: Any full-time student who intends to follow a career in local government or to teach public administration. Honorary Member: Only those persons nominated unanimously by the Board of Directors and elected by a majority of members voting in an annual business meeting, in recognition of distinguished service to the profession of local government management. MEMBERSHIP DUES: Payable Annually Membership dues for Full and Affiliate categories of membership are $100 per calendar year. Dues for Student members are $25 per year. Dues are waived for Honorary members. The GCCMA fiscal year begins on May 1st and ends on April 30th of each year. Dues are not prorated for any portion of the fiscal year. After original membership, the Association Business Manager bills members annually in May of each year. Milledge Ave. Athens, GA 30602 APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP Persons interested in membership in GCCMA should complete the membership application form and return it to the Association Business Manager with a check made payable to GCCMA for the full amount of annual dues. Approval of applications will be acknowledged by an officer of GCCMA and the new member will be added to the Association roster and mailing lists. New members will immediately begin receiving the newsletter and meeting announcements.
