The Alliance for Innovation and the Georgia City-County Management Association are pleased to announce a new mutually beneficial joint partnership. Through the collaborative partnership, Georgia localities will gain national exposure to local government innovations and have the opportunity to participate in forums that foster creativity and innovation.
The Alliance for Innovation is a community of practice that incorporates vibrant member interaction and synergy, open exchange of knowledge and ideas, creation of new partnership and business relationships, and provision of products and services that support networking and innovation. The Alliance and its partners, ICMA and Arizona State University and its School of Public Affairs, are providing local governments with the resources to transform organizations and advance community excellence through the discovery and application of leading ideas and practices.
Dramatic changes are taking place across the globe and in the organizations and communities we serve as local government professionals. We must discover new ways of shaping our organizations and communities. The Alliance’s structure creates a special collaborative forum for learning, measured risk taking, exploration and discovery, and sharing of knowledge and experience. Innovation is key to an organization’s success, and this is why the Alliance and GCCMA are working in partnership.
